Advocates Experiential Learning – provision of meaningful experiences for children

Campaigns towards Home / School Partnership – actively promotes interaction through Parent Support Groups so as to provide a common platform between parents, teachers and the school with the sole purpose of improving the quality of children’s lives

OUR ACTIVITIES

Large Group Discussions followed up with exploratory hands-on sessions in Small Groups in an array of daily programmes, such as:

Language Development (English & Malay)

Mathematical Awareness

Early Sciences including cooking lessons

Motor development – Physical Exercise, Outdoor Games & Playground Activities

Computer Literacy

Islamic knowledge – With the motto ‘Islam is everyday living’, Surah from the Juz’ Amma, Daily practical Dua’s, Solat (theory & practise) Asma’ul Husna, Stories of the Prophets and IQRA’ Recitation.

OUR APPROACH

· Learning through Play – child initiated, teacher facilitated

· Project based explorative experiences in nurturing environments

OUR FUNCTIONS

· Children’s Parties for ‘Hari Raya’, Children’s Day and Farewell Party for the K2 children

· Family Sports Day

· Graduation cum Concerts

Many field trips and excursions are conducted to provide a holistic approach to the curriculum. Children are also invited to variety performances for other organisations.
